Import your guest list from Zola
Export your list from Zola, then paste or upload it here. Tablecharm reads the columns and builds your guest list from it.
If your guest list already lives in Zola, you do not need to retype it. Zola keeps names, RSVP responses, and how guests are grouped, and you can download that as a spreadsheet in a couple of clicks from a desktop browser.
Once you have the file, Tablecharm reads the header row, pulls in each guest's name, keeps parties grouped together, and leaves out anyone who has already declined. From there you add your seating rules and press Solve.
How to export your list from Zola
- 1.Sign in to Zola on a desktop browser and open your Guest List page. Exporting is a desktop feature, it is not available from the Zola app.
- 2.Look for a menu in the top right corner of the guest list and choose to download your list as a spreadsheet.
- 3.If you want RSVP responses included, open the Track RSVPs page instead, use its export option, and download it as a CSV or Excel file.
- 4.Save the file somewhere you can find it, then open it to confirm it has a header row with names and, if you use them, party or RSVP columns.
- 5.In Tablecharm, upload that file with the CSV button in the guest panel, or open it and paste the rows straight into the paste box.
What comes through
When that file comes in, Tablecharm reads the header row and matches first and last name, the party a guest belongs to, and RSVP status where it is included. A guest marked as declined is left out; everyone else comes through with their party and any plus-one kept together.
Names, party size, and plus-ones all come through automatically, so you land in the editor with a real guest list instead of a blank page.
The editor and solver are free to try. Unlocking every table and the printable exports is a one-time charge.
Questions couples ask
Do I need to clean up the Zola export before uploading it?
No. Tablecharm reads whatever columns your export has and only needs a name in each row. Extra columns like email or address are simply ignored.
What happens to guests who declined in Zola?
If your export includes an RSVP column and it says declined, that guest is left out automatically. Anyone marked attending, pending, or anything else is kept.
Can I paste instead of uploading a file?
Yes. Open the exported file, select the rows, and paste them straight into the guest panel in Tablecharm. Pasted text is read the same way as an uploaded CSV.
